I hope the New Year has been good to you.
I am writing to share that I am running for Mayor of Pinecrest. Mayor Corradino is concluding this chapter of service, after volunteering for our Community as both Mayor and Councilmember. Thank you to Mayor Corradino for his commitment to our community.
Serving on Council for the past 5 years has been an honor. Thank you for your trust in me. If I have the privilege of serving as your mayor, I will work to maintain that trust and build on it.
Over my five years on council, I’ve learned that Pinecrest works best when our Council listens closely, and our government is in step with our Residents. That philosophy has guided my service on Council and will continue guiding me moving forward. Between the 2020 and 2024 elections, I knocked on 10,000 doors. I heard your concerns firsthand and these conversations have shaped my priorities.
And my top priority is ensuring that our Village Government is focused on serving you. That includes focusing on the fundamentals: Responsive Service, Community Safety (supporting our police), Fiscal Responsibility, Community Building, keeping development True to Pinecrest, and Safeguarding our Quality of Life.
I remain committed to connecting directly with you. I will continue to host a table at the Farmers Market at least twice a month, as I have done for the past five years. And this week, I will begin walking Pinecrest and knocking on doors. I look forward to speaking with you, ensuring that I understand your priorities.
The election is on November 3, 2026. In the coming months, I will resign from my Council seat (Seat 3) to comply with Florida’s resign-to-run law and our Charter. I also want to provide ample opportunity for those interested in serving our Community to consider running for Seat 3.
Thank you for the privilege of serving our Community. I look forward to building on the foundation that our founders laid in 1996. And I appreciate your consideration.
Warmest regards,
