170 Hydrants Will be Installed, Making Pinecrest Safer

A quick update on infrastructure improvements:

Pleased to report that of the 16 Districts in the Village Potable Water Project that the Council passed in 2021, two districts are now nearing completion.

Thanks goes to our Public Works Department.  The dedication that our Village professionals have demonstrated in this effort makes our Community proud.

Council Specifically Allocated Federal Funding Toward the Project

18 Fire Hydrants are in.

11,342 Linear Feet of Water Mains are in.

Most Lateral Lines are in. (The lines going to homes)

Functional Testing by the County will be necessary before the lines are operational.

New Fire Hydrant Installed

More than ever we are reminded of the need to be self-reliant as a nation.  To that end, proud to say that the Fire Hydrants and Pipes are all Made in the USA – supporting our economy.  In Pinecrest, we are committed to doing our part.

Additionally, Pinecrest recently signed a new contract for Storm Water Drainage for another section of our Community. Preliminary work began recently, marking underground lines to prep for final design. Construction is to begin early this summer.

One of the main reasons I ran for office was because I believe in a Local Government that Works For You – one that is committed, engaged, listens,  makes improvements and  tangible differences in our Community.  These projects are examples of that kind of practical vision.

Onward!
